I recently helped my boyfriend pick out some new towels. He chose a bunch of unrelated colors and patterns and did not understand why I didn't agree with his choices. And none of them match his bathroom.

My mum redecorates her bathroom a lot and changes the towels to match. I don't remember the last time I bought towels.

After years of owning regular bath towels (ie, not too soft and not the cheap-ass rough ones, but just your middle of the road bath towels) my world was rocked last year when I splurged on four extra super duper soft bath towels. One for each of us in my family. They are the bomb. So, I would highly recommend that you guys splurge on two extra-fancy soft towels at some point.

What is French blue?
Blue towels are really bad for fluff - worse than any other kind of towel.
And hand towels are pointless useless things that only girls like. I hate them and all their kind.

But I would like to echo the sentiments of the person above who recommended extra posho towels - they really do rawk.
